Why the Monk is on Journey ?

This is the story of the Monk who bought.-- who bought His Bullock Cart for his journey.

It is said curiosity Killed the cat.

The Monk initially did not have curiosity.

Over a period of time the Monk having thought about the world finally decided to tak 'Yatra'.
Yatra in Sanskrit means Journey. But the word 'Yatra' is having more significance than just Journey.

It is different types of 'Yatra's that he undertakes in his life. Like at Birth he takes initial 'Yatra' from mother's womb into this world of five elements. He graduates in the course of his studies which is in a 'Ashrama' -- School of Learning and takes 'Yatra' from home to the 'School of Learning'.

There after he takes 'Vihara Yatra' -- with his family - a picnic you may call it.
Having given the Progeny he sees their upbringing is proper and so takes the 'Yatra' of Responsible 'Parent hood'.

Later in the part of the life he takes the Vaanaprastashrama -- where he is supposed to exclude himself from the material world and aspire for the Eternal Almighty.

If we observe in all this course of journey he is traversing from one Cart into the other -- trying to change the cart to traverse the journey and later to transcend that.

So it is the Cart that he takes and the Bullock that pulls the cart is the wish of the Monkey that eventually turns towards the divine to reach the ultimate-- A wish that transforms him from an ordinary Monkey on to the Monk. Then when did he buy exactly the Bullock Cart for his Journey ?

Curiosity Kills the cat.

Sermon On The Mount

"Life has no short cuts! "
On the contrary “Are there people who take the same roads multiple times in their life?”. People should learn from their mistakes. Not repeat it? I am talking about the journey of life… What do you say?"
This reminds of a story that I read from the talks of my Master- Read on-- Wordings are mine for I remember the outline of the story- For the correctness you may have to encounter the Master !!
A man upset with his life goes up the Hill to commit suicide. At that point of time when he wants to jump down from the hill, an old man with a beard appears and stops him and asks “Dear one what are you doing ?”.

This young man laments for all what he did during his life, how he could not succeed in many times, life full of failures- unable to live further and therefore, wants to commit suicide.

The old man says- "Dear one- Life is like that because you have ‘wanted’ it to be like that."
The young man argues – "No, given another life I would definitely live differently – All the failures that I encountered now I know how not to commit them and so I will over come them in that life !!

The old man says- "Boy, it would not be like that - In that life too you would end up at the same place. So forget about the past, live in the present go back home and lead a different life. What you cannot do in this life you cannot possibly do in another one !!"

The young man argues to the contrary tells I know all my failures now and given another life I would definitely not commit the same and stops at nothing less than committing suicide.
The old man then offers him – "Ok I will give you another life. Go and undo yourself !!"

The young man gets another life and starts growing. At every stage of his life an inner self warns him ‘Dear what you are doing is not right- you should do the other way’. At every corner of his life to him it appears he has know this situation earlier yet he ignores that call of the inner voice and commits the same mistakes/encounters the same failures and comes back and lands on the same hill at the same point of committing suicide.

Now,the old man appears again and stops him.

He asks the question- “Dear one what are you doing ?-I gave one more opportunity – But you are here again ?"

Now the young man realizes that the inner call which was guiding him was through out being there and he not heard that !"

Thou Art That - Tat Twam Asi

In ancient times the Silk Road was the Corridor of Spirituality!!
The traveling business men along with their business carried their Master’s messages along the road that they traveled.
In the Modern world, Information Technology is the High way of Spiritual Seekers across the globe.
India the Land of different Spiritual Evolutions also is the Land of Opportunities for the Information Technology growth.
So along with IT and the Resources that are trotting the globe for that IT, are also the torch bearers of Spirituality in the sense many of the systems of Indian Lore are now getting highlighted in various forums across globe.
In Lion City for example you find Yoga being branded as True Yoga and spreading its wings afar.
Some times the Nameless and Formless Almighty is referred to as “IT” or “THAT”. So that way also IT is related to Spirituality !!
IT started with Hardware then lead into Software and now Lion City resonates with the Universal truth by pronouncing conceputalized thought stream of “Heartware” !!.
Now we speak of integrating these three Wares into one !!
IT is contained in the word Spirituality twice. So totally it is 3 Its !!. (Triumvirate !!)
The Master says “The Bridge is for Crossing”.
Hope the IT generation crosses the Bridge of SpiritualITy and traces the Beauty of Human Evolution !!

Truth One, Wise Men Speak of It differently !

The Vedic adage says- Truth is one Wise Men Speak of it differently!

Here I quote two of the most popular Mobile Companies of Singapore speaking the truth about Life !

M1 the great mobile service provider- 1 Life Live it !

Star Hub the Great bundled Service provider of Digital Cable, Broad Band and Telephone and Mobile Services it is :

"For the Life I have I am the Hub"

I do not know whether they realised the spiritual content of their Catchy One Liners but to the Far East Square Team these catchy phrases really symbolize the Spirit in us !

Its really this is our Life and so its 1 Life and hence Live it - Live it wisely !

For all that happens surrounding us we are the centre- The circumference is dependent on us and so I am the Hub

Me not the Doer, He !

Na Aham Karta, Karta Hari Hi !

This is a beautiful phrase from the Vedas that I am not the Doer, but its He !

Wonderful provided we understand whats being done, who the doer and when its done by Him and when done by us !

The Beauty of the Mind of Human endeavours from time immemorial is to realise this vast secret of Nature, understand it, analyse it and synthesise it into one grand union of the Yoga of self with the Self !

It is said Yoga means Union. Its also said 'Yogah Karamasu Kausalam' ! Yoga means Skill in Action.

So whats that Skill that transcends this Human Mind and transforms itself into that Union of the Great !

May the Beauty of River with its twists and turns, rushing and gushing, ups and downs reveal itself that the Beauty of the Soul is realised by this Mind and Body !

Body Mind & Soul

Buddham Saranam Gachaami

Body Mind and Soul

Since time Immemorial this subject is a very fascinating one.

Many subjugated the Body to find the Soul and Lot many subjugated Soul to find the essence of Mind !!

In the Gita Lord Krishna says " I am Time( Aham Kalosmi ) ".

If He is Time in that eternal Time where is the Body Mind and Soul ?

The Mind in many scriptures is compared to Monkey. And also it is compared to a Drunken Monkey at some times when the vagaries of Mind go beyond control or regulation.

When the 'K'ey Factor is missing in the Mon'k'ey it turns into a Medium of Exchange-- Money !!

When the M(aster) is stripped off the Monkey, it is 'On-key' !! A Robot is On-Key. It does Robotically. No sense of Purpose.

When the M(aster) who is the 'K'ey factor is retained and the I (ey) is stripped off, the Monkey transforms into The Monk !!

May the Monkey Lose its I !

Blossoms of the Night !

Blossoms of the Night !!
A Beautiful and Wonderful Idea.

In the Vedas of Lore there is a discription of a tree That Blossoms In the Night.

It is said this tree when Blossoms No one can see the Flowers or the tree.

Yet every one can trace that tree by the Blossoms that spread the smell across the way the seeker traverses its path.

The air that carries the Sweet Smell is the Blessed one for it is the Carrier of the great Flower!!

Monk Jian-Zhen - The Master of Vinaya !

Its also the place where you can progressively disseminate information to large masse.

So the purpose is that - What I come across or know I can share

In sharing there is Joy- So Read and Enjoy !
